Traditional Shabbos Foods Recipes and Routine This Shabbos we hosted someone that we haven’t seen in such a long time. Everyone was so excited and helped in their own way. Come along on this Shabbos Prep video. We will be making Traditional Shabbos Challah, Sourdough bread, Shabbos Appetizers, Shabbat Roast, Shabbos Chicken, Shabbat Salads and Shabbos Desserts. 🗒️Recipes: 🍅 Matbucha: Pulse 3 jalapeños, 3 tomatoes, 5 cloves of garlic. Place 3 tbsp of oil into a pot. Add the vegetables and sauté for 5 minutes. Season with salt, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp coriander, 1 tsp tumeric, 1 tbsp paprika. Mix and cook for 15 minutes. 🌶️ Jalapeño Dip: Pan fry 3 jalapeños and 4 garlic cloves in 3 tablespoons of oil until golden. Blend once cooled with 1/2 cup of mayo, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and tsp of lemon juice. Tehini Dip: Mix equal parts tehini paste and water. Add in 1 cloves of garlic, 1/2 a lemon squeezed and salt. Dried herbs optional. Humus: 1 can of garbanzo beans 1/4 cup tehini Squeeze of lemon Salt Cumin Coriander Garlic powder 3 ice cubes 3 tbsp oil 🥩 Shabbat Roast: S/P Garlic powder Onion soup mix Cumin Coriander Montreal steak seasoning Cover and Bake at 350-375F for 3-4 hours.
